Health and Safety Training & Compliance
The Environmental, Health and Safety Office (EHS) offers a variety of training modules to increase awareness of potential workplace hazards, meet regulatory compliance requirements, and promote an overall culture of safety at the University. New employees are required to complete Safe Lifting Techniques and Slips, Trips and Falls Prevention which provides employees with information to prevent injuries, while in the workplace. These catagories represent the majority of accidents/injuries at the University. Employees may also be required to complete other EHS health and safety trainings based on their assigned department and/or job category.
