EH&S 17.0 Boiler/Machinery
The University has many different types of equipment and machinery that require scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. The purpose of this policy is to provide procedures that can lower the high cost of insurance, reduce the number of unplanned outages, and extend the life of the University's boiler and machinery equipment. Additional information related to occupational safety for University personnel exposed to industrial hazards is found in Section 9 of the Loss Prevention Manual.
