EH&S 14.0 Violence-Free Workplace Policy
The University of Louisiana at Lafayette is a violence-free campus. The purpose of the violence-free workplace policy is to affirm the University's commitment to providing its employees and students with an environment that is both safe and secure.
The violence in the workplace policy is available to each new employee at their orientation training. Crime statistics for the University are printed yearly and distributed to every employee, and the University Police website supports information regarding violence in the work place and the Clery Act (legislation that regulates the reporting of crime statistics at colleges and universities).
